So I guess I knew this day was coming, but didn't think it would be now. My fi niece is having her two year b-day party at the end of the month, and fi can't go. He is going to a bachelor party and so this will be the first time where I will be going solo to a ffil function.
So I'm curious who else has made this journey, and how'd it go.

Re: Inlaw functions by yourself?
I do it all the time ~ at first it was weird ~ but now I am like one of the crew ~ I hope you have a good time!

Re: Inlaw functions by yourself?
I don't know if my FIL's dislike me, just like making me as uncomfortable as humanly possible, or they just bask in making me feel like I don't belong and am not good enough for their family, but I refuse to go to any functions by myself. I'll only go if FH cousin goes, she is 6 years younger than me but we get along great.
After my last experience, my FH knows that it will never happen again.
