Does anyone have any info on the inn at new hyde park?
Specifically pp costs for a saturday afternoon-if you have november quotes that's great; otherwise i'd like to see what the other months range from.
Also-they only do 1 wedding at a time right?? Does anyone know what their minimums are?

You have FM about the prices.
The minimum for Sat eve. in summer is 225, Sun eve is 200.
I didn't ask about daytime or fall.

I am getting married there Nov. 10, 2011. It is a Thurs night, 125 min. at $ 100 pp plus tax and gratuity. I'm not too sure about Sat. afternoon but I remember them being very willing to negotiate.

Wow Christine! That's awesome. So smart to get married the day before Veteran's day! I never even thought of it until you mentioned it on an earleir thread.
I was able to get my minimum down a bit since it's Father's Day, but I still worry about making it. The place was too phenomenal to walk away from though. I've never seen anything like it

You should go and Talk to Frank, he can work with you on both the price and Min. Since your looking for an afternoon wedding I think they will be more flexible.

Maybe i'll go back with FH and if he likes it; then we'll express our concern over the price. Maybe he can come down a little more for us...

The only reason I was able to get married here is because I went with this day. Otherwise the minimums were outrageous! Also, I am only going with a Thursday night because the next day is Veterans Days and a majority of the guests will have off. But, I loved the Inn and like you said I could not walk away from it!!
Oh wow, you went with Father's Day and they worked with you?! That's great. I know, I am also still worried about reaching my min. requirement. What is your minimum?

my min is 175.... how many people to u plan on inviting so that ur min will show up... this is so scary to me... im soo scared that i won't have my min come!

You should expect 20% to not show up so you would need to invite about 218
