Anyone know someone to install hardwood floors/ laminate? How did you find an installer and what questions did you ask, I know to ask for references but what else.
I'm looking to buy the laminate from Lumber Liquidators and I just need someone to install it.

My hubby installed ours - he said it was easy to do but he's fairly handy (I know I would have been lost doing it LOL).
My dad is a contractor and would do it - if you'd like his info FM me :)

I know on Pergo's website - you can put in you zip code and get a list of their certified installers. I am sure if they do Pergo they do all other brands. I found a great handiman/carpenter - he does floors and other stuff and does good work.

DH and I installed our own and it was easy! Sorry, no recommendations on an installer.

My fh is a carpenter and has guys taht he does that with on the side any questions just let me know

my dh did some of the wood flooring in our house and he said it was fairly easy

We decided to do it ourselves. We're going to order the flooring from Lumber Liquidators and a friend of my husbands is going to walk us through the procees ( He's pretty handy and did all the work on his own house himself -- it looks great).
So for under under $1000 we'll get the floors to the family room done.
