I saw this last night when i was buying some stuff online for the e-party...I think it is such a cute idea...has anyone been to a party where they've done this, and would you do it.
my good friend went to a wedding in Ohio where they did it. She loved it. She said her and the people she went with got tipsy and took lots of silly pics.
That's why I won't do it. I'd rather have the tipsy people dancing, not taking pics.
ETA: That came out real snotty, no emoticons or anything. Sorry girls. For CH I think it's a good idea....

Re: Instant photo guest book
i saw this at two weddings i've been to. at one it worked really well and at the other it didn't seem to work out too well.
i think the key to making it successful was to have the guestbook at a table toward the entrance of the reception room, with someone manning the table, letting people know about it. that way people either signed as soon as they came into the room, or they at least saw it and signed soon after they found their table.
at the wedding where it didn't work so well, the bride and groom had it on a table behind their table, and i heard them constantly asking people 'have you taken the picture and signed our book?' and by then it was noisy and people were drinking and no one really seemed interested.

YEAH i think its a good idea to have it by the entrance for guests to do when they first arrive

I didnt even think of the TIPSY people Lord knows we'll have plenty of those. Maybe put it by the entrance of the Reception room or in CH room. Plus maybe at the beginning, before they introduce us, have the DJ tell people about it

Aww that's so cute! But I'd be scared with some of the people at our wedding...what they would take pictures of. I'm already thinking about not putting disposable cameras on the tables. Between our friends and a lot of our cousins...I'm just scared to see some of the pictures.

yeah i know what you mean but i figured its harder to do that with this, with disposables yeah they can take the camera with them anywhere and be stupid lol

I dunno...I kinda like the idea of the little stickers...I even think I might incorporate it into the wish bowl...my DIY invites came with blank response cards we were going to use as Wish bowl cards...maybe I'll put the camera over by there and have people take pics of themselves and put it on the card...LOVE it...thanks Ladies...this site is so helpful....
but it always ends up costing us more $$$
