We were thinking of making a donation to a military charity in lieu of favors. Anyone else doing this? We would still do the little tulle favors with the jordan almonds and we have a photobooth so they will also get pics of themselves.
Great idea and yes I have been to a wedding where they did a donation as a favor!

We are doing a donation too, I think we are going to give like a small box with chocolates in it possibly and a tag on it that says a donation was made...
Ok great! I went to look at favors and I was telling FH I dont want anything chichi and then the lady showed us serving dishes which is great for people who entertain but not good for everyone. So I thought the money was better spent on charities. FH is a disabled vet so its important to us to help other soldiers and their families.

I think a donation is a great idea. We are doing one too. I think we are going to do that, picture frames for the photobooth, and to go boxes for VH - To be honest, most of the favors I get from weddings end up in the trash after a few weeks. As a guest, i'd rather the money be spent on a good cause then on another shot glass or candle with the couples name on it lol!
I am doing a donation to the lung cancer society in honor of my mom. But i dont want my guests tonleave empty handed so im gonna do something small but unsure what yet
We are doing it too. My MOH has MS and we were going to donate to that charity in honor of her. She cried when I told her we wanted to do that.
