It's getting close to my wedding and my song list is almost done except for this! ARG. We're trying to do something that's not the traditional classical music. Anyone have any ideas? I'd really like a track with no voices, just an instrumental song for us to walk down the aisle to. Preferably acoustic guitar, but at this point I'm open to anything.
Thanks in advance! <3

Re: instrumental ceremony song
I would look into something by Mark Knopfler or Dire Straits...there are some really romantic sounding tracks on the live albums , like the live version of 'Local Hero/Wild Theme'. I really want to use that. The only thing is that, as I said, the more romantic, slower versions of his stuff tend to be the live versions, which also have the crowd cheering as the begin and end. If there were a way to remove that or fade in so that you don't hear them or something...
Either way, Mark Knopfler is the guy who does the music for The Princess Bride as well. I'd check out his stuff.

I am walking down to an instrumental version of 'All you need is love' . It is very pretty. I found it on Itunes.

I was really leaning towards doing the instrumental version of the Verve's Bittersweet Symphony

You should check out the Vitamin String Quartet. They are and orchestra that does all instrumental versions of a ton of current songs. They have a website...and you could probably look on itunes/limewire if you have it.
my brother used some of there stuff for his wedding, it was cool
Good Luck!

Re: instrumental ceremony song
Maybe you can look up some classical guitar music? Do a google search.
We had a Vivaldi piece played by a string quartet. Not traditional, but still really nice.
