not really because they are all booked in atlantic city for new years eve and everyone gets out there early they actually go early so they will beat the traffic at the end of the week! I know my mom and dad are going to go to Atlantic city thursday night because they get a free room. All I can say is call them and find out what is available right now.

the hotels in Atlantic City are booked almost a year in advance.....I highly doiubt you will get something inexpensive until after the new year.....

I know that the Showboat is undergoing renovations - maybe people chose another hotel instead of that one? There may be some rooms left, I would call them, it's worth a shot.

Call the Atlantic Palace - it's not a casino hotel, just a hotel on the boardwalk. all the rooms are suites - either Studio or 2-bedroom suites. Jacuzzi's and all.

If you gusy do not have a preference about staying on the boardwalk, I would recommend looking at one of the chain hotels off the boardwalk. There are a couple of hotels on the AC Expressway, that you may have some luck with. They are a short drive from the boardwalk and some are pretty nice. I would recommend the Hampton Inn. I think there are 2 right outside of AC
