Interfaith Ceremony

Interfaith Ceremony

Can anyone recommend a rabbi and a priest for our interfaith ceremony? I am Roman Catholic and my fiance is Jewish. We called a few people and they were really rude. Does anyone have any recommendations?

Re: Interfaith Ceremony

We are using Father Thomas McCormick and Rabbi Alan Stein, who work together on a regular basis. They are both very nice and accomodating. We wanted to meet with the rabbi and priest before we book so we could see their style, etc... They were the only ones that welcomed the idea, where some of the other pairs gave us a little push back saying 'they don't usually do that'. You should contact them, they are in the vendor section of LIW. I have also heard wonderful things about Rabbi Broden.

Do you have a venue for the ceremony? We are using the CW Post Interfaith Chapel. You may want to take a look at that if you need a location.

We used Rev. Debra Viola of Ceremonies from the Heart. She is non-denomanialtion. She writes your cermony for you.

She is wonderful. We had an interfaith and it was great. She even gave us a keepsake booklet of our cermony that she wrote.

I am jewish and hubby is Protestant.
