Did anyone or will anyone skip the formal introductions at the reception? We're attending the whole cocktail hour and not sure how to handle. Interested in finding what everyone else did or plans on doing.

i am doing the intros, we will be there for most of our cocktail hour, but i like the idea of introducing everyone, and i found a bunch of 'friend' type songs to play as each of the BP and parents walk out! I'm so excited, they have no idea that i'm doing that!

we are planning to go to the cocktail hr...but we are still doing the intros....not all the guests know all of our bridal party....and I really want to be introduced as Mr and Mrs_____

I think that my FH would be upset if we weren't introduced that way. Last yr when our son was born the hospital used my last name...because we weren't married yet...even though his last name is my FH's on his birth certificate. And as strange as this may sound...I can't wait to share the same last name and my new husband and my son

Even if you attend cocktail hour when everyone goes to the reception you can sneak away for 10 minutes and then be introduced formally as the new Mr. & Mrs. I thought it was so much fun!!

yup! we still did the formal intros even though we were at most of the coctail hour.... i don't know, for some reason i really like it... when i've been in weddings its like my favorite part- they have upbeat music playing and it gets everybody going i say go for it you want to do it!

We skipped the formal introductions - it just wasn't our style, and we only had a MOH and a BM. We were at the cocktail hour with everyone else, so we just walked in with the rest of the guests.
