Invisible Pen

Invisible Pen

For those ladies who have already sent out their invites. Did you number your RSVPs so that if there was no name written down, you would know what number on your guest list that RSVP corresponded to? I've heard of people buying an invisible pen, where can I get one?! TIA girls!

I numbered mine. And a few people did forget to write names!

I just wrote it lightly in pencil on the back of the RSVP card

i numbered the back with an invisible pen. I got it from Amazon and it had a blacklight on the other end of it. it was pretty cheap and worked really well

Re: Invisible Pen

i printed the address list with numbers next to each invitation and then i numbered the back of the rsvp card with an invisible pen i got from amazon. i know there was a site that was cheaper but girls said shipping took a while and i didnt have time to spare! My invites just got sent yesterday so i have no idea if it will come in handy or just have been a waste of my time...

This may be a stupid question, but why is it a big deal that you mark the back of the RSVP card with either a number or persons name and why go so crazy diguising it?

Numbering the back is definitely a good thing to do. I've seen plenty of people number in regular pen or pencil. If you do get an invisible ink pen, you might as well just write the names on the back! That way you don't need to worry about matching the numbers to names later.

ahh that's an even better idea! thanks!

disguising it is just a matter of preference...idk why but i'd rather not have a number on the back for my guests to see, stupid, i guess....but im anal lol

the reason why some people number just in general (either hidden or not) is just in case someone doesn't write their name in on the line, you can easily identify which guest it is instead of waiting til you get most of your RSVPs back and having process of elimination

This exactly. So far all RSVP's have had names, but there was one I couldn't figure out what it said (bad handwriting) and some people wrote 'Mr. & Mrs. Smith, and I have about 14 Mr. & Mrs. Smiths on the list. It has helped to figure out which 'Smith' it is

Re: Invisible Pen

I am just gonna write it small on the back... I dont think the invisible pen is necessary lol no one ever looks on the back and they will be sending it back to you (hopefully) fast! lol

I just had it printed in small font on the back right corner, I could care less if people see. They shouldn't be flipping it over as far as I'm concerned.

Just fill it out appropriately and send it back in a timely fashion--that's all I care about!

You will get a few idiots in the bunch that do not writ their names and send them in late!
