Well since my wedding falls around the holiday time, we are sending ours out at the end of September, so people can book hotels/flights without the crazy increase in prices.

Actually, it's 8-10 that's etiquette. I was planning on sending them out tomorrow (for my 4/3/05 wedding - don't pay attention to the date in the profile) but I only just got the call that they're in and I still have to get the envelopes to the calligrapher ![]()

I think 8-10 is standard. I'd send them out 10 weeks in advance if you have a lot of OOT guests and also if you plan on sending invitations to people on the 'B' list as you receive 'NO's' so that those on the 'B' list wont realize they were on that list!

I thought it might me more like 10-12 because it seems that some people are sending them 3 full months ahead. Since I sent out STDs, I feel pretty secure in the 8-10 week range! Thanks girls- we better get cracking on making them ![]()
