Invitation and RSVP Wording

Invitation and RSVP Wording

I'm going through the 'proof' process for my invitations and here's the gist of my wording (Sorry this got kinda long after i werote it!):

Mr. and Mrs. Bride's Parents request the honour of your presence at the marraige of their daughter... blah blah etc...

Here's the catch: we would like the RVSP's to come to our apartment. My parents are giving us about half the money for the wedding and we are funding all of the rest (minus the rehearsal dinner, which the groom's dad is paying for). But we wanted to show my parents our appreciation for helping us with the wedding and made the wording as such.

Since my fiance's parents are divorced, he said that it would be better that his parents were not mentioned at all on the invitation - so ultimately, this isn't about hurt feelings with the wording or anything... that's all been worked out.

But will people think it's weird to see my parents as the 'hosts' yet we're the ones keeping track of the RSVP's?

Honestly, If I received an invite from the 'parents of' and the RSVP went back to the bride - I wouldn't think twice about it!!

my invite says my parents the rsvp is addressed to me only but the address is my parents house... only cause we are moving and it wouldnt have worked well to be getting rsvps that way...

its not a big deal... its doubtful that anyone would notice anyway

My invite indicates that the parents are hosting the wedding, but the RSVP's come to me.

I don't think I would even notice, I'd just put the RSVP card back in the envelope and mail it!
