invitation assembling ???

i want to start putting together my invites and i found so many websites on how to put them together but the decriptions make no sense, does the reply card go inside the response envelope with the directions, or do they just go under the flap, and how does it all go into the big envelope??


any help would be great thank you!!!

This is what I did (from Martha Stewart Weddings & the Birchcraft website:

bottom to top:
invitation
tissue paper
reception card
response card (tucked into envelope, but facing forward)
map/directions

But my direction card was huge and I didn't want that to be the first thing people saw. so I folded the directions and put them behind the reception card.
