I am planning to send my invitations out this Friday and in all my stress waited until today to pick up the church direction cards. Well, the so-called direction cards are really squares on a piece of paper that need to be copied and cut out. I am so confused of what to do. I can't really see having the stationer print out direction cards now, I've spent so much money on these invites and they will charge a rush because I will obviously need them in two days so I can send them out Friday. Did anybody not send out direction cards for their church? Or does anyone have any suggestions for me?

Re: invitation direction cards
we consolidated all in info on one folding card and a map...
I would ask a place like Kinkos or Staples. I ordered my invitations through a regular printing place and the guy was nice enough to do my direction cards for free. I gave him the direction cards from my hall and he's printing the directions to the hotel on the back, the fewer inserts the better.

Nicole, the stationer mentioned the same thing to me, but I know they would not have been able to do it in two days. I will try Kinko's or a printing place though, maybe they will be able to get it done on the back of my hotel accomodation cards. Thanks for the advice!

Re: invitation direction cards
I bought pretty paper from Michael's and printed out my own. I was lucky because Michael's had a print that worked with my other stationery...
They have LOTS of choices...

Re: invitation direction cards
I wound up buying some blank response cards from Staples- Michaels sells them too and printing them on my own. I put to the church on one front and to the reception on back. And they just so happen to match my invitations!!
Check out www.uprint.com- that's the company that makes them.
Too bad I can't use the envelopes for anything...

Re: invitation direction cards
I also reccommend copying them on to card stock. Staples, kinkos, or a smaller copy shop will also have a paper cutter to use to cut them.
I have having maps made up, so I am waiting for them before I send my invites out & I am gettign married the day before you! I paln to have them out by August 7. Not too late , but my rsvp is September 2!

My church did the same thing. I had to photocopy the front then the back then put them together. I actually did it yesterday at work (shhhhh! ) It's on regular paper because I rather the guests look at the invitation more than the direction cards. I didn't care what they were printed on.

I'm hoping to get mine out by then too, but I put Sept. 11 as my RSVP. I know people in my family suck at replying so I figured I would give them an extra week. It also still gives me a couple of weeks to track down the slackers.
