Invitation Envelope Printing

Who does the actual printing on the outside envelope and the inner envelope? I am ready to order my invitations but I don't know how to have the guests' names printed on the envelopes.
Help!

Re: Invitation Envelope Printing

Some people print them themselve on their home printers. You can also send them to a calligrapher. You can ask for a quote on the vendors helping brides forum. Also, there is a website called inkspun.com who does the calligraphy.

HTH!

Re: Invitation Envelope Printing

We did it ourselves on our home printer. We bought a program from Staples for $20.00 to use a fancy font. At first, it was a bit difficult to adjust the margins correctly to fit the envelope. We perfected it on our sample envelopes until it was centered and then kept that format saved in MS word to use on all of the envelopes. We even set a separate font/format for printing the return addresses! It was cheap, the envelopes came out beautiful, and we received many compliments on them from our guests who believed we paid to have it professionally done. There were so many costs, FH & I didn't want to pay someone else for what we could do ourselves. Good luck!
