Invitation Format Help!

I am having trouble deciding, which invitation format do you like better? The first one has the date spelled out and doesn't include the year. The second one has the year included and the date is written in a different format. Just as an FYI, the first pic has been printed on the actual invitation.

Go to the pic in your album, and right-click on it. Highlight 'Copy Image Address' (if it's a Mac) or 'Properties' (PC) Either way, get the web address for the picture, and then in your message here, click on 'Insert Web Image' on the left. Input the web address you've copied, and voila!

Invitations usually have the date and year written out:

Friday, the third of October two-thousand and eight

can you combine the two? i think it really should have the year on there, but the text in the first version is much more formal and wedding appropriate

Edit: get rid of the address and just put one line with the town and state. this should free up space for the year. you can then put the address on a separate card

Two thousand and eight
At six o clock in the evening
