Invitation help please!!!

My reception hall and hotel for guests are literally next door to each other. (Not on the same property but still side by side within walking distance). Should I include separate directions to the hall and then separate directions to the hotel? Or can I get away with just directions to the hall and say the hotel is located next door? My invitation person thinks its silly to repeat directions when they basically lead to the same place. But I say it may be too confusing to some people. When coming off the highway, you see the reception hall first and then the hotel. Some are not familiar with the area. What do you all think? Am I better off providing as much info as possible or keep it simple with one set of directions?

I'm in a similar situation. I'm getting married at the Fox Hollow and we are using the Inn at Fox Hollow for our block. They are literally separated by a driveway. When we got the direction cards from the hotel to include in our invitations, we noticed the hotel has the same address as the hall. Because of that, we don't think we are going to give separate direction cards for the hall and hotel. We are hoping our guests are smart enough to know the difference! If not, they won't have to go far to make it to the right place.

If you are planning to write your own direction cards, I would give the address of the hall, the address of the hotel, and then one set of directions. Most people have GPS and should get there just fine.

You are right. I drove myself nuts over this but having 2 sets of directions to the same place is redundant and it could look more confusing than not supplying directions at all. We decided to do directions to the hall and write something like the hotel is located adjacent to the reception hall. And we are including the addresses of both locations. If people are from the area they will know where to go and if they aren't....most people have GPS now a days. I've realized I can't think of everything for everyone! LOL
