I'm planning on mailing my invites in mid to late July. My RSVP date is 9/10/11 for a 10/15/11 wedding date.

i was told a good rule of thumb is find out when the final head count is due and have the rsvp's to be due 2-3 weeks before that. so mail them out 1 1/2 -2 months before.

RSVP June 1st
Wedding first weekend in July

Mailing two months before, RSVP date is one month before.

my RSVP date is one month before the wedding and I am mailing them out about 5 weeks before the RSVP date

I have always heard RSVP was three weeks before but I didn't think it was enough time. Glad to hear others are doing it earlier also.

Rsvp date is one month before I mailed invites out 3 months before wedding
