I just received an invitation for my bosses sons wedding. Two issues....there's no response card and no information asking for an RSVP and the wedding is less than 2 weeks away. What. The. Heck? Has anyone ever received an invitation like this? I can't make it and I'm not sure if I'm supposed to tell anyone.

Did the invitation only contain the ceremony information? Or, did it have a RH noted?

I'm assuming it was a B list invite as it's only 2 weeks ago haha... maybe they just prepped the invites wrong and forgot to include the RSVP card (+the RSVP date is probably out of date anyway). I'd send a note to the return address giving my regrets & also let your boss know that you can't make it.

I think you are def invited to the reception but b/c its past the rsvp date and they dont want you to know youre b list they left it out. Send a generic card (like one with just a flower) saying thanks for the invite but sorry I cant make it
