INVITATION WORDING

We went to look at invitations this afternoon... my parents are deceased and FH mom and dad are divorced. No one talks to his dad, how do we word this? I do not want to make the invitation morbid but want to honor my parents in the invitations. Help! P.S. I have already looked on verseit.com, can not get any thing from there.

Re: INVITATION WORDING

I have seen people say:

You are invited to the wedding of
Susan Ann Smith
Daughter of the Late Mr. and Mrs. Larry Smith
to
John Barry Longfellow
son of blah blah blah

I don't think that is morbid at all.
