Since most of you probably have your invites done, I figured you guys could help me out!
FH and I are paying for the wedding but we want our parents acknowledged on our invites. We also want a cute little quote.
CAn anyone help? What do you guys have?

We we're going to put our parents on our invites (even though we are paying) but it wound up being too wordy for us (bc our invites are square)
We had it as:
Phyllis Ann Louise daughter of Anthony & Eve ________ & Joseph Paul son of Paul & Rosemarie _______
request the honor of your presence at their Marriage Friday, the eighth of April two thousand and eleven at six-thirty in the evening etc etc etc
but then we just went with our names without parents underneath
You can also just put Together With Their Parents (at the top)
If you put your parents first, it will seem that they are hosting the event, not you.

ETA: FH and I are paying for about 80-90% of the wedding just FYI. My parents are picking up the rest and FILs split the costs of the e-party and the RD with my parents.

Together wiith their parents....and continued from there
We wanted it personal (hence the quote - which fits us perfectly haha) and although we are paying for the reception (YIKES) our parents gave us money towars vendors, so we wanted to give them a little shout out too lol. let us know what you figure out!

We put together with their parents. FH's dad is contributing the most, but his parents are divorced and remarried, my parents have a different last name...it would have just been too much on the invite.
