Invitation wording - no middle name

Any of you ladies having the same problem that I am with wording your invitations? How are you supposed to write an invitation where the bride's parents are hosting, but the bride doesn't have a middle name! It looks so unbalanced....

Can anyone tell me what they are doing?
TIA

Re: Invitation wording - no middle name

Well, I have a middle name which I am using but my FH does NOT! So what I am doing is putting...

Danielle Patrice

to

Mr. Vincent Rella

once it is centered it will look great. For you, if you are catholic and have a confirmation name you could add that... otherwise, you can put your full name like I am with him.

Ms. Danielle O'Hara

to

Mr. Vincent Rella

Hope that helps!! Good Luck. The only other option I can think of is just using both of your first names.

Danielle

to

Vincent

I think even that still looks nice!!

Re: Invitation wording - no middle name

Well here's the thing...
my parents are hosting, but I want to mention his parents name so should I do it like this:

Mr. and Mrs. Brides Parents
request the honour of your presence
at the marriage of their daughter
First name
to
First name middle name
son of Mr. and Mrs. Grooms Parents

OR

Do I still put his last name????

Re: Invitation wording - no middle name

My FH has a middle name , which to his family is his 'real name' it is what they call him ...he is from ecuador and that's how they do it, I call him his Born first name...SOOO needless to say Both his middle and first need to be there and I do not have a middle name and I do not use my confirmation name SOOO we will simply do

Mr. and Mrs. J ****
and
Mr. and Mrs. C ***
request.....

Yeah that is more like it. If the brides parents are hosting the wedding then you do not put 'Miss' b/c the parents are already on the invitation. The same rule holds true if you put the groom's parents of the invitation, since their name is on you do not put 'mr' or his last name...it is already mentioed w/ his parents. We have the same situation only reversed...I wanted my middle name on, but FH didn't...so we just put my first and middle name, but only put FH first name. Once it was centered on the invite, it looked fine!

Could you just put your FH first name too?

Re: Invitation wording - no middle name

I have a middle name but FH doesn't. But it looks ok on the invitation layout because my first and middle names together are as long as his first name. So it looks balanced.
