Invitations

Again I posted this on the 08 board but sometimes I feel I get a better response over here so any help would be great!!

So I am just realizing how close my wedding is and that I still have so much to do!!! I have not felt like doing anything for the last few months but now I realize that I need to do them I can't put it off anymore..anyways so my questions is if my wedding is 2/29/08 when should I mail out the invites & what should I put as the RSVP date? We were thinking the beginning of December to mail them but I'm not sure about the RSVP? I am a little behind and really need to order my invitations so any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!!!

I think the standard is the invites should be 6-8 weeks before the wedding, so January 18-25 for sending, with RSVP usually 2-4 weeks of the wedding. so you can get a final count for the reception hall. I would say RSVP between February 8-15, so you have at least 2 weeks to finalize the count and work on your seating charts
