INVITATIONS - How much and who?

Hi everyone~

How much is everyone spending on invitations? I'm doing custom work with one of the recommended vendors on this site for roughly $900 for 150. Several different papers are being used, ribbon - etc. Am I in the ballpark?

Custom made LA productions $350 for 100.

I am using now-and-forever.com for my invites.

They have an invite I saw and haven't seen anywhere else and they are not that expensive but the paper quality is very good. I had a sample mailed to me.

Also LA Productions custom made and complete with directionals to match! I just love them! 100 sets for $400.00.

I had to have letterpress, which unfortunately are not cheap. But I loved them and everyone said how beautiful and different they were. $1400 for 100. Here's a picture:

You usually pay a premium for anything custom made, so if you love them, don't worry so much about what you're paying.

Thanks for your input everyone! I feel a little better about the cost. Every cost so far has been a shock - then I settle down and I realize it's fair. I'm waiting to see the sample and I'll see if it's worth the money. Thanks again!
