I think i finally found my invitations! well at least someone who is willing to make them for me!

I'm thinking about mailing them around March 15. I have waaaay too many people, so I'm hoping for early 'no's so I can invite the B-list.
However, I can't even order invites until we set a final time with the church.
really march 15th? i was thinking even earlier...2 wks earlier? no?

I am getting married the day before you. Our RSVP date is April 12 and we hope to send them out no later than March 10.

OK...doing some invitation math! the hall where our reception is reccomended NLT 6 wks RSVP date, the final number to him is one week (i read that monday-or 5 working days-before the wedding) SO i say for folks to respond they need to have it at least 2-3 weeks in hand. SO i'm SENDING them out 9 weeks in advance and that's now March 14th. PHEW, when i think about them addressed by the calligrapher, I need to have them all ready to go by mid Feb, and they take 3-4 to turn around, so they have to be ordered by the first week of DEC just to have some extra time! this is all coming so fast!

since we're doing an A and B list..we were thinking of mailing ours out around beginning of march and having the first RSVP date be like 1st week in april. then the B list would go out 2nd week in april and be due back 2nd week in may.. hopefully this will all work out.

whoa...jusy OKed my invites proofs...! feels so real! i was going crazy trying to find a mistake, but i think i'm OK, and they're fine...just feels so wierd, like everything is speeding up!
onto planning the day and getting a timeline together!!!!!

Congrats Christian! Isn't it a weird/cool feeling seeing the invites with your names and wedding date on it? You picked such great invites, I know they will be a hit.
We are still in the design stage with the Australian company. I owe you big time for finding their website! They are doing an amazing job and I am just so excited about the invitations!! I am having more fun with this part of the wedding planning than anything else I have worked on so far. I wish I could post some of the samples they have done for me, but they are large files and bitmaps, and I can't seem to convert them to .jpg! Maybe I can get one scanned.

Danielle, man its just a cool feeling to help! i'm so excited for you! your dream theme is coming true! i guess i just love the idea of great invites because i grea up with my grandparents having theirs framed and on their wall, and they just celebrated their 54th anniversary. i day captured on paper.
once you get them you'll have to take some pictures and post the photos for all to see and i'm so glad the austalian company is working out! who knew?!!

well our invites are being designed by FH sister since shes a graphic designer.. so technically they're taken care of even though i haven't seen them yet and i dont think shes started designing yet.
i trust her though, her and her husband designed the new coke and cherry coke containers. i'm just antsy cause i wanna see stuff

i would consider that done, because it not really on your to do list anymore and by the way TOO COOL that they did the coke designs and they're doing your invites! i'd be excited to see your invites too!

if i knew how to make the files smaller without totally ruining the design i'd post my eparty invites. i absolutely loved them. i gotta ask FH to do it for me. i wanna shareeee
