There have been a bunch of posts about this, I went to yahoo and did a search for 'discount wedding invitations', then I added my theme once I decided. I found the invites I liked, for 25% off. Then I decided to check what the vendors had to offer. Rebecca from Favorite Things Invitations had the same offer plus I got personal service and someone to go back to if there was a problem, not just some website. There was no problem, she was great. She spent almost 2 hours with me talking about fonts, colors and wording.

May I ask why you want to order them online if you can get them on sale from someone local? We are using Gail at Simply Elegant. She's a vendor on this site and she discounts invitations as much as 30%. She has a very large and beautiful selection. My daughter's STD's came in within a week and a half. We'll be ordering the invitations soon.

We used Exclusively Weddings. Their paper catalog comes with a bunch of the wedding mags, or you can go to their online catalog.

Pros: You save 20-35% off of retail prices and also no sales tax if the company is out of state.

Cons: No personal attention - so no advice on wording and styling. Need to order in advance - since you may need to make changes during the proofing stage which may take longer than expected.
