Invitations Postage

Invitations Postage

My invites are $1.90 each to send. Instead of putting a billion stamps on each to get to $1.90 what do you think i should do, buy $1 stamps and put 2 $1 (and eat the 10 cents per invite) on each or get metered stamps from the post office? The thing with the metered stamps is that they will have to put them on themselves since they are goverment property.

I don't know which is best... what do you think?

i don't think people would care at all if you have a stamp postage on the invitation ... so if i were you, i'd probably save the $20

however, it's really up to you (obviously haha)

I dont know how much it goes for, but have you seen the ZAZZLE stamps? I really am not sure how much they cost but you can customize the stamps and the actual postage (i think) as well? that may also be an option? We may look into this....

EDITED: Sorry but I was totally wrong lol - you can't customize your postage.

IN that case, I would prob see if I could do it with 3 stamps that are close to the 1.90 and if not and it was more than 3 stamps, I would prob bite the bullet and put 2 $1 ones

What about doing a $1 and then 2 others that will equal $.90? I don't think 3 will look bad if you line them up

I am crazy so I would eat the 10¢ or I would have custom stamps made, I am not 100% sure how you go about that maybe look at stamps.com

I'd love to see your invitations!!!

I agree! I am having special ones made on zazzle that are 95 cents (postage is 81) b/c I didn't want more than one stamp on the evnvelop.

When it comes to stamps less is more!

ETA: this is for my STDs. Stupid things cost a fortune! Who knows how much my wedding invites will be!

Don't feel bad. I went to get mine weighed and they are $1.56 to send. I'm trying to figure this out now too.

stamps.com and zazzle cost a lot more. A sheet of $.44 stamps (20 stamps) costs $17.95 from them.
