We decided to MAKE our invitations because A- we really wanted the pocket fold invites, and B- they were too expensive... and C- my fiance and I are just very creative people.
So after about 3 weeks of cutting, gluing, printing, sealing, stuffing, and stamping., we FINALLY finished last night and I just brought them to the post office today! 120 invitations... 237 invited...
Believe me it was a LOT of work- arguments arose between the 2 of us, the printer got jammed about 98 times- I went to every craft store in Nassau and Suffolk counties just to find enough of the blue paper (which came from the scrap booking section), Rob had to literally measure out every piece of paper and cut it EXACTLY.... but we're VERY pleased with the results... HOWEVER I would not recommend doing this- especially to those with little patience!!!!

Very very nice job! they look great.
Ironically I do invites for others showers, birthday parties etc...but I knew I didn't have the patience to do my own invites. Soooooo glad I ordered them.

They look great!! Mine should be going out this week as well. I have to bring it to the post office to get weighed. I have pocketfold also...about how much did postage cost?
