Invite question - hotel info

Invite question - hotel info

Hi everyone! I have a bunch of OOTers. How did you handle the hotel info cards- did you insert them in ALL your invites regardless if they were OOTers or not? Or did you only insert them with the OOTer invites? And did you do a different directions card for OOTers than you did for locals?

Thanks!!

Re: Invite question - hotel info

I put hotel cards in all of the invites. Some of my local guests are getting rooms so that they can take advantage of the shuttle and not have to drive. We also put our wedding website on the hotel insert so I wanted everyone to get that too.

See, that's my problem- I don't want EVERYONE to take advantage of the shuttle because I'm paying for it and it's So I'd rather make it selective to the OOTers...what do you think, is that mean? TIA

I am putting the hotel cards in all of my invites, since I have some friends from Brooklyn that are gong to stay in a hotel rather than drive back to Brooklyn that night. I am also giving everyone the same direction card, since the hotel that I booked at is right next door to my reception hall.

I was invited to a wedding where the couple put the hotel cards in all of the invitations regardless if they were OOTs. There might be some people that want to make a night of it and not worry about driving home after drinking.

I put them into all the inviations since you never know who might decide to stay over.

i dont think its mean, but if there are any local people staying at the hotel it may be difficult to limit to shuttle to OOTers without ruffling any feathers... but if this is case i think your best bet will be to include the hotel info only for OOT guests, and then if any local guests ask you about hotel just tell them

I'm in the same boat as you! Only the OOT are getting them in their invites, but everyone got the info when I sent out my STD's.
Alot of my guests have already booked the hotel, so by the time the invites go out it's really a formality. There will probably be no room at the hotel by the time the invites go out anyway!
P.S. Who are you using for your shuttles? I'm in desperate need of a vendor!!!

I'm not 100% sure...still looking for the best quote. I know Classic Trans does them...and I just put a post out on Vendors board. I think the price for shuttles is just insane!! I wish I booked a hotel that provides it for you...at least then they'll make multiple trips. The companies I've called don't do that...I don't get it!

Re: Invite question - hotel info

we did a separate mailing to the OOT people prior to the invites so they could reserve rooms.

I used designhergals.com to make this - HTH
