invite wording

invite wording

My very close friend lost her husband about 8 months ago. How do I address her invite? Do i leave it Mrs....... and no guest?

or invite with guest?

Heres another twist

she lives with her sister- who was never married and I am inviting her with guest.... ugh... help

that's tough. i don't think you invite her with a guest though. i mean there is no chance she's dating anyone. you can talk to her about bringing someone if she prefers but i think seeing Mrs ___ and guest is heartbreaking.

thanks for putting into perspective for me...i hope this wasnt a dumb question- I just didnt want her to think she couldnt bring anyone- but Im not going to put guest....i think thats the wrong move... :) thanks for your help!
