Invites are in the mail!!!!

My invites are on their way to family and friends. Here is a hint, make sure you have the post office double check your postage BEFORE you send them. I put a wax seal on the envelopes and that took my invites to 83 cents, and of course, I had the 60 cents stamps on them. Thankfully I did not mail them and get them all back. So make sure you have the PO check them one last time before handing them over.

Very nice!! Is that a flower I see on the outer envelope, that's such a nice touch! Are you relieved they're out? How exciting!!

I LOVE that font, so elegant. It feels so good to get them out, doesn't it?! Now run run run to the mailbox and wait for the responses!!

These are hand calligraphy invites done by Debi at
www.bloomingquill.com
The rose is also hand painted on each outer envelope.
Honestly she is wonderful and talented. I highly recommend her. She went above and beyond for me every step of the way.
What a relief. Now let the RSVPs start coming.....

Congratulations! Isn't it the best feeling. I sent mine out on Friday because I couldn't wait anymore. Getting the responses is so much fun.

It was a very nerve wracking week. You have to proof the addresses, make sure you stuff the envelopes correctly, I also numbered all of my RSVP envelopes so that if anyone send me back an unnamed RSVP I can figure out who it is, and the postage. I just wanted everything to be perfect.

Michele, they look GREAT! I'm sure they are much more beautiful in real life!!

Getting the invites out the door was not as easy as I thought it would be. Between managing the guest list, verifying addresses, figuring out how to address each inner envelope, making church direction cards, then putting everything together...whew

Have fun checking your mailbox-hope you get lots of 'will attend's!!
