Inviting bosses? kinda long...
Hi there! ok this is probably stupid, but here goes.
i work for a big company, and wasn't planning on inviting anyone from my current job. I have a group I hang with, but they aren't expecting to be invited (everyone is cool w/ that).
However, i'm not sure about my bosses. They are giving me 2 1/2 wks off for pre-wedd/HM time (which is great), but we aren't that close or hang out in a real social manner. we get along well, work-wise.
Basically there is my boss, and my boss' boss (who also works closely with us), and someone else in my dept my boss & I are friends with who I was considering (so boss had someone else he knew there). I doubt any would actually come, but i wasn't sure how crazy I need to get with this, esp since i'm not even inviting co workers i do socialize with.
Originally I was just going to invite no one, and just say it was small, etc. but my friend @ advised me to invite the boss, to be polite, etc..
