Ok maybe it's me, but this is a defentite no go for me. Actually, I never knew someone would even want to do this until I saw pictures on facebook of someone's honeymoon where a family member met them down there. I don't care how close we are, a honeymoon is just that, for me and fh ALONE.

i had a friend who did a european cruise, then they met her parents in italy. it sounds kinda weird but the groom couldnt really say anything since they were footing the entire bill. i would Never!!

Actually my guy friend at work, his wife set up a double date on their HM with another girl she met on LIW. He said they set it up before they got there. haha
He was like my wife is psycho. Only girls on LIW do things like that .lol

O nooooooooooo wayyyyyy! Someone I work had a destination wedding and both sides of the family went and stayed at villas right near them and they were always hanging out weirrrrrrrrrd!

we kinda did this with FSIL and her husband, but thats really only because it was a vegas wedding and we all stayed there for a week. but its kinda different i guess

I'm not inviting family, but we're going to Italy and I have relatives there that we'll meet for a day. It's not like I see them often and I'd like FH to meet them. Plus they're letting us stay in their apartment in another town. Otherwise, any other circumstance, I would say it's a definite no-no.
