So FH has some friends that have girlfriends/wives. We hang out a decent amount in a group/dinners and I am friendly with them. However, I do not hang out with them individually and I am not close with them. Does anyone else have a situation like this and are you going to invite them to the shower? Thanks in advance.

I have 2 girls like that, but i feel close to them....just cause i see them all of the time.
And the one girl just got married and she invited me to her bridal shower.

For my shower my mom didn't invite women who were guest of other ppl unless they were family. DH's friends gf's or wives did not come to the shower. My mom did invite BIL's gf who was miserable the entire time, and didn't hide it one bit. They are broken up now, and she is in some of the pics. I don't think you have to invite them.
I had a very similar situation and my mom and MOH didn't invite them just because I wasn't all that close with them. I feel like the bridal shower is really for people you are close to, people you see regularly, family and close friends. JMO though.
I was invited to the showers of FH's friends. I had a wonderful time and it made me feel honored that they took me seriously (we weren't engaged yet). I would invite them. I'm inviting 80% of the women invited to the wedding anyway.

I'll be inviting FH's closest friends wives/gf's (there's about 5 or 6)...even though we mainly hang out in groups/double dates, I would absolutely want them there.
I'd invite any girls you are close to. And I'd invite FH's best friends' wives/gfs. As for just friends - they just come to the wedding.
the girls that i am closer to, i am inviting... like those that i have no prob hanging out with if the guys arent around...

Same here.. There are some that I hang out with on a fairly regular basis.. Others that I see once a year or less I am not inviting. In tot l I think I am inivitng 3 of FHs friends gfs/wives.
I've only met a few of FH's work friends' wives, and on one or two occasions...his out of work friends either don't have gfs, or I've never met them. My mother wants to invite every femle invited to the wedding, but I really don't feel comfortable with that, because I don't know them and I'd feel weird.

yes did..i was a bit surprised..but that was lamost two years ago and we hang out alot more now so im so comfy with inviting her but i would just go by would u be ok hanging out with her without the guys..if u r i say invite her....fh really good friends wife i am not close with and although fh and this guy r good friends i did not invite her where as his other good friends who i am friendly wit the wives/gf i invited......do i make any sense?

Yes....I am inviting my FHs friends wives/girlfriends. We always talk when we do go out as a group and even though I don't hang out with them on my own, I am still going to extend the invite
