My parents got an invitation today for my FSIL and FBIL's wedding in December... My mom had asked me a while ago if I was planning to invite their parents, as well as my other FSIL's parents... I hadn't planned on it... now I guess I should!
Is this normal to invite your FSIL or FBIL's parents to the reception???

I am inviting them only because I see them everytime I go to FSILs house so I am close with them.
I guess it depends on your relationship with them!

Well, from your FH's end of it, yes. I'm inviting my sister's MIL, my brother's MIL and my other brother's MIL and step-FIL. So, in my FH's shoes, he's inviting FS/BIL's parents.

We're not. FH's twin brother is engaged and I've met her parents once and FH has never even met them. We didn't feel it was necessary to invite strangers, but every family does it differently.
