inviting work people

did u invite all work people with a guest? our guest list is getting a bit out of control and theres a bunch of people from work we'd both like to invite but if we invite them all with a guest then we have to cut a bunch out bc its just too many people...but its rude not to invite them with a guest right?

I invited the people from work I liked and knew would be happy for me. Most of them are married so I can't do 'singles'

I did..but only because they are all in serious relationships and I thought it would be rude to not invite them with a guest

we invited everyone from work without a date....married or not. I have a cute little poem that I recieved a lot of positives comments about. FM me for it. It is at my house and I am at FH ....

Also other work weddings only invited everyone with out dates so it happens all around

Re: inviting work people

I'm not inviting my whole office, just mainly the partners, people in my department, and then a few other people I'm close with. Basically if the people are married, of course I will invite them with a guest. Also, any of them who I know are in a serious relationship, I'm going to invite them with a guest. But there are a few ladies I plan on inviting who are single, and I'm not inviting them with a guest. And I'm sure they'll be understanding about it because when I was first engaged and stressing about money, they had said if I needed to cut work people in order to save money, they'd totally understand and would not be offended if I had to cut them. One of my co-workers got married last year and did the same thing with her invites, and it worked out fine, and no one was insulted, and they all came, and we had a great time together.

I don't know how many work people I'm inviting yet. Definitely 2 and they have SOs so I will be inviting them with guests.

IMO, if you invite them knowing they are in a serious relationship or married and leave the partner out, it is wrong. How would you feel if FH was invited to a wedding w/o you? If I know they are not involved with someone, then I am inviting just them, no guest. I am picking who to invite. FH and I work together. He has only 2 people he wants to invite. We work in a large organization. I could invite a hundred people easily, but I need to pick those that I really want. I am leaving out one person, that may cause an issue, but I hate her and she stresses me out.

for me - i work in a small office. i am not close with everyone - but i invited those that i am close with. everyone who was invited to the wedding expected to be....because we're friends...ya know?

You kinda hvae to invite them with a guest if they are married....etc.

I guess there is a chance that you can speak to the people and see how they will take it...

I actually didnt invite anyone from work which ***** but we cant afford that many people. There are about 5-6 people I would want plus their guest. I would either cut the work list down or not have work people!

Re: inviting work people

We are actually inviting a TON of people from work, b/c we met at work and work together

But I would just invite the ones you both are closest to and if they are married or have a significant other, then include them as a guest.

we are inviting people with a guest only if they are married. It would be too much to invite everyone with a guest.

Yes, I'm inviting all of my work friends with guests. All of them are either married or in a serious relationship. If they aren't in a serious relationship, I think it's ok to invite them without a guest.

We're inviting work people with the option of a guest.

Im inviting my department and the ones that are married with a guest. If they aren't married or they are divorced, no guest...
same goes for some of our friends. If they aren't dating someone, they are invited alone. I don't feel the need to pay for some random at our wedding
