iPhone 5 Announcement!!!

Hubby and I are officially getting the iPhone 5 whenever it comes out. So excited to be done w/ my stupid Blackberry (I've had enough!).

Latest news is that it's coming out October 12th.

me too!! especially that my blackberry is literally dying a slow death right now and making my life miserable by not working at all! UGH! where did you hear oct 12th? are they taking pre-orders now????

They haven't announced carriers yet -- so not sure. Some are speculating it might just be for certain carriers, so let's see! Either way our contract is ending now, so we can go either way. I'm exciiteeeddddd!

I used to be the same way but I'm so annoyed of not being able to take nice photos and post them like a normal human being without my phone freezing. BB's are awesome for work, love e-mailing with it, but I also love doing a lot of the appy kind of things that I can't do now.

Um this is very true! The camera on my phone is terrible. Funny though, my friend has a BB with a flash, and her phone takes amazing pictures! She's the only person I know with a BB with a flash, though...

And I do wish I had some apps

I am totally with you girl. BB's are great for calendar, emailing, BBM of course, but there is no apps. and the ones they do have - suck! u can do so much with an phone! i am ready for change!

I have a flash on my BB and the pics are ok. but i still want the iphone. lol

Ah, my contract is up and I am ready for an upgrade...and my Droid decided to stop functioning YESTERDAY. The screen went black and I kept saying, come on, can you fix yourself for another 2 weeks? Please?

It's okay, I'll take the 4GS. Right now I have a curve that feels like it's from 1980's lol This might just mean it will be easier to get it than it would have been for the 5

Still waiting to hear about what carriers have it. Have you decided which one to go w/? Assuming it's available on same ones as now...?

I think I'll get this new one, since it is global which is awesome. I will stick with my Verizon contract since I have unlimited data and you can't really get that anymore

I will also get the 4gs. i have an old bb too. it still has the roller ball. i get abused all the time.

Mine has the roller-ball too.

I will stick with verizon. i have unlimited data too.. don't want to lose that. the new features do sound pretty cool. it has a sick camera & video!
