i think it depends on how much you think you'll use it and what you're going to use it for...

i have a nano but im a little slow when it comes to the downloading so i cannot get any new songs on it! i've had the same songs on there since xmas!!

if you just want something to play music i would go for just an mp3 player ... i got FH one from best buy it cost me a little over a 100 and it can hold up to i think 500 songs ... IMO ipods i feel are a pain ... with his i can simply do drag and drop to load the MP3 player

I have a sony one that does that...FH has an ipod and for me personally with the SONY one its easier for me to get the songs on it...I also just drag and drop, plus i liked how it looked alot better. Problem is i rarely use it, dont even know why i dont, gotta start using it. I feel bad bc when i started working in jersey FH gave it to me bc he felt bad i had a long commute

My Ipod is my lifeline.. I do a lot of commuting so I'd probalby go crazy without it.

FYI, there are Nano's that hold up to 500 songs and ones that hold up to 1000 songs... obviously the 1000 song one is going to be more expensive. Check out Best Buy or Circuit City to get an idea on pricing.

i have the ipod nano and i cant live without it...its great so you dont haveto bring a million cds in ur car and great for the gym...im going to upgrade to the one that holds more songs myself

I love my ipod. I put my wedding pics on it and take it to vendors like the florist and tell them can u do this? It's great. I also purchase 'Whose wedding is this anyway' since my cable company doesn't porvide it.

Thats a great idea! You dont think the video IPod is big? I'm used to my smaller mini ipod.
