Is $4k too much for a band?

I have to make a big decision. I really love this band, but...... for $4,000 that seems excessive. My RH is a little more than double. I think that it might be too much especially since its only for 4 hrs. I really do like them but I dont think I can afford them on my tight budget. I havent even booked florist and photg/video and I would only have 6k to spend on both. Any thoughts??

if you think they are too much you should still shop around... I was at a dinner last night and this band played and they were AMAZING!!!! and they were sooooo cheap too check them out if you want

I actually booked a band/dj up in the Westchester/New Rochelle area for $6k, maybe they'll charge less for doing just band or just dj??
