Is $60 for 1dz roses for my boquet expensive?? *NM*

I think that is a fair price for a bride's bouquet. They usually charge alittle less than that for bridesmaid so taht sounds good.

Well, I originally had my heart set on a hand-tied boquet of fuscia calla lillies for my boquet. But Cress florists, whom I've heard is pricey, said $135 for the bouquet. So, I just called him back and asked about 1 dz dark pink roses and he said $60, so maybe he's not too bad after all. I'm still going to visit several other florists tomorrow.

Unfortunately, once you go into a florist and say the word wedding they mark up the prices. What would 1 dozen roses cost you normally? Maybe $30. And you can tie a ribbon around them yourself. I was quoted $200 for a bouquet of hand tied calla lilies, and there were less than 10 in the whole bouquet! Try calling a florist and just asking how much they normally charge for 1 dozen roses, and then judge for yourself if the extra money is worth it.

I had 3 doz + stephanotis for $150. $60 isn't bad... *NM*
