Cant the cake be decorated with flowers in lieu of.......?
Just wondering.....b/c if I can get away without getting one, then I will.

It's not necessary. You can totally do flowers.

Nope. we didn't have one because I really didn't want one. It would have taken away from my beautiful cake.

I think some toppers are really nice, but I think some are really cheesy. It all depends on what you want, but they are definitely not a must.
I do like th emonogram toppers though. I think if i put a monogram on one more thing FI will kill me.

you can top it with flowers. Sometimes even plain is nice.

I got a charicutre made of my and My FH- I will post he pics when it comes in-
I am really excited about it
I wanted to play up our size differnce
I am 5'1 115 lbs- he is 6'1 and 250 lbs

And thanks girls for shedding some light on this situation. Im so excited -- this is one less thing I dont have to get.
Some cake toppers were a bit too cheesy, and I didnt want to be forced in getting one; especially since I will have no use for it afterwards.......
