I think it really depends on YOUR personality.
I'm a control freak...
unfortunately I had a LOT of snags on my wedding day. but honestly, I handled them and wouldn't have been happy if someone else had. If I was told at the end of the night about all the problems then I would have tipped people more then they deserved... and to me, thats not cool.
BUT I would have liked someone to assist me all night... considering my bridal attendant went 'em- eye- ay- about ¼ of the way into the reception.
edit for the em-eye-ay.. forgot you can't space it.
