Re: is anybody...?
We're having one- we have a big group- 9 GMs, 5 BMs, 2 FGs so we definitely feel it's necessary to avoid chaos on the day of the wedding.
But we're not doing any fancy dinner afterwards. We're having a buffet/open bar at the local pub and we're not sending out invites.

Re: is anybody...?
we are not actually getting married at the church so reaallllyy no point for us to have but BUT FH parents want to give us one... so bascially it will be nothing huge or anything but at a place mainly for all of us to get together and spend some extra time with out of towners..

Re: is anybody...?
I see no point in rehearsal dinners IMO. But we are having the rehearsal at the church then we are all going to a restaurant to eat after, nothing fancy, no invites.

well cost is a big factor for us... and when my officiant says its not nessecery to have on i was thinking of scrapping the entire idea... we could just meet and have a BBQ or somthing like that!... i was moreinterested in knowing if you were going to be rehersing the cer(not so much for a dinner)

Not having one... and we have a small bridal party so I think everyone will be fine. Most have been in weddings before and know the drill anyway.

Re: is anybody...?
Traditionally the grooms parents pay for rehearsal dinner. This is our second marriage for each of us. Having moved back to New York, we are planning and paying for it.

I am not having one. We are getting married at the hall and I don't believe they allow you to come rehearse. I am excited about not having one because it is one less thing to worry about and pay for.
