Okay, so I'm totally stressing about money. My fiance and I are paying for everything, and we're saving and doing well. We have around 11g's saved so far, and our wedding is August 1. I hope we save enough!

We are ALL stressing about money. Of course, I only speak for myself, but I think mostly everyone would agree. Weddings are mad expensive, just set a RESONABLE budget and stick to it!! Hang in there girl, you can get through it
as I have stated here before, we are paying all on our own as well. FH is in the U.S. Marine Corps. and makes virtually no money so its really all on me rather than us.
I have saved over 2K since this past August, not to shabby for someone who lost their 'real' job in October and is just working 'for right now' jobs. But I work my butt off all week 8-3 all then Friday night 6 pm - 2am and Saturday 8am - 1pm Saturday night 5pm -11 pm and Sunday from 10 am to 10pm.
Oh yea and I'm a grad student, lol, yep I know a little bit about stress tooo sweetie, just hang in there sounds like your saving lots.

Holy crap!! When do you sleep? Seems like you work 24/7. But I'm give you props for doing what you have to do. I hope your FH comes home safely and soon. Hang in there, you can make it through!
YES YES YES!!!! Mostly about what happens AFTER the wedding is OVER!!!!!! What about money for a place to live!!!!! AAGGGHH!!!

We aren't paying for the whole wedding ourselves, but we can't help but to be a little stressed. Seeing everything that needs to be done/paid for is pretty overwhelming! I am sure it will all work out in the end so try not to freak out too much and just enjoy the planning process!

Boy do I hope it 'all works out in the end.' I keep thinking that the cost of this wedding in the end is a year and half of our rent. It's scary as hell if you ask me, because we are not used to 'saving' or having extra money so somehow we are doing it, small steps of course...but priorities are important. We can't afford ANY of this but if we waited we may never be able to afford it, so were going for it....hang in there..you not alone!

We are also paying four our wedding, and we just bought a house!!! OK not the greatest timing - but I want it all!

I fit right into this boat! My FI and I are paying for everything and with our current bills, schools loans, and rent, I really hope we make it because I don't know what we can cut from the wedding! We already cut the videography because we definately can't afford it - it would be nice to have but unless we get it as a gift, it's not happening and the photography is basic......Good Luck to all -

We paid for everything ourselves..and it was very stressful, luckily we wanted a simple wedding with just close friends and family, so we had about 80 people, but yes, we stressed BAD! Im a grad student, so a good portion of my money goes right back into tuition, but we worked our asses off so we wouldnt have any debt at all, and we did it, paid off evrything and it was agreat feeling! But the stress is worth it! Weddings are a beautiful thing!
