Okay, so I'm totally stressing about money. My fiance and I are paying for everything, and we're saving and doing well. We have around 11g's saved so far, and our wedding is August 1. I hope we save enough!

OMG YES!!! Especially since I am in my last year of school and we just have his salary right now. I mean my parents help ALOT, but I don't want to be living off my parents gifts forever, ya know?

Oh of course - but FH sits in front on his computer staring at his account balance for like 10 min/day! I want to kill him b/c I know we won't be like this forever...everyone else does it and so will we!

STRESSING is not even the word. What happens if we really can't afford it. We too are paying for our own wedding and I a grad student. FH decided to go back to school as well, not to mention car payments, rent, etc. We are really worried about whether or not we will make it. I keep telling myself it will all be okay, but I am not really that sure. We do not even leave our apt b/c we have no money and somehow it seems like we are not really saving anything either. This is NO FUN!

I swear, half of it is just living on Long island- anyone read those newspaper articles recently? We've lost 20% of our 18-34 year old population- you can get a house elsewhere for $200k and get the same house here for $500k.....its crazy and frustrating!

OMG! HELL YES! LOL but I know we will get thru it...all I say is 'I'm broke until 1:30PM Aug 21 2004' after that let's count the $$$ in the envelopes!
To all the brides let it roll off your back....no one's money is enough just don't go into debt it's one day!

I too am freaking out of course. I really have no clue how we are going to do this but people say it works out somehow in the end! I sure do hope it does.
