Having their mom and dad walk them down the aisle??? My parents are still married and Im close with both of them so they are both walking me down the aisle together.

The bride was walked down the aisle by her parents (who are married) at the wedding I attended this past weekend. And my friend did the same thing last summer at her wedding.

it's jewish tradition to have both parents walk the bride and groom down...that's how we're doing it.

Same here. They both have had such a great impact on my life...I couldnt imagine not having them both walk me down...they are still currently married as well..

I'm only having my father walk me down the aisle. My mother and me are so involved with the entire wedding and this is the one thing that is 'his job'. And I know it means alot to him to give me away.

i really wanted both of my parents to walk me down the aisle, but my Dad got really sad when I asked my Mom to do it too. Later, I find out that he really wanted that special moment, just me and him, which really touched me. So, Mom and I decided that it's ok if it's just me and my Daddy.

My two brothers are walking me down, but I went to the chapel the other day, it looks a little narrow expecially with the branches going up, that is what is making me uneasy. Have to double check all....

I'm doing the same thing. Also, with my Dad's goof ball off the wall sense of humor he will keep me calm. I also think it will make for great photography.

YES....I'm having both walk me down the aisle. My parents are divorced BUT although my mom was both mom and dad, my father always wanted to walk me down the aisle so to be fair, I'm using both.

I will be sitting on my father's lap as he wheels us down the aisle in his wheelchair. (My daddy is paralyzed). There is not enough room for me in my dress and my mommy to sit on his lap.
