Re: Is anyone a lonley wife?
Nope, hubby is home by 7, we have dinner together. Sometimes one or both of us go out with others (he went to a bar w/the guys to watch the game last night)....and that's ok with me, I don't mind a little alone time

Re: Is anyone a lonley wife?
Nope, but my poor Vin works way too much... He's a high school teacher, and also the defensive coordinator for the football team, so he puts A LOT of time into preparing for practices and games. I would not want him any other way though! I just wish he would sleep more... he's out of the house by 7am and gets home around 8pm. But he loves his job and I know that if he were doing something different he would be working just the same amount of time, giving at least 110% of himself...

Re: Is anyone a lonley wife?
Not I!!!
I am with Mike plenty! We live together, jog together in the morning, and work out at night together sometimes.
He leaves in the morning after our run while I am in the shower and he is home by the time I walk in the apartment.
I actually LOVE being alone sometimes. I tressure those moments to myself!

Re: Is anyone a lonley wife?
Since FH works in Suffolk and I work in the City we try to line up our schedules. He usually gets home in time to pick me up from the train station. I usually work late so he can work late. He works too hard, in my opinion, but we both have a real dedication to our jobs, so it's alright.
As a matter of fact, Im bringing him into the City to work on my filing with me this weekend! To be fair, I promised he could get a hair cut and we'd go to the Cat Show in Madison Square Garden this weekend too!

Re: Is anyone a lonley wife?
sometime's i feel lonely, fh works 12 hours a day and when he gets home he takes his shower, eat dinner, 3 nights a week we go to school, and on the days we don't have school we'll watch a movie together but he usually ends up falling asleep right away. somedays i enjoy having alone time, but others i'm sad because i miss him. but every sunday and monday we have two whole days to just do things together.

Re: Is anyone a lonley wife?
Jenn, 'aggression' came from R&T's original post where she said she thought loneliness leads to angry aggression for some people (paraphrasing because I can't see the original post as I type this).

I have to admit, I have a lonely husband. I work too much!!!!
Unfortunately, it comes with the profession (attorney), but things will have to change when we have kids!!

Re: Is anyone a lonley wife?
Hmm, I can't really say because I'm NOT LIVING WITH DH YET!!!! GRRRRRR!!! So I guess you could say I'm lonely because I miss him. But I really can't answer for another few weeks, when I'll find out for sure.
Generally, though, I have hobbies and interests that keep me busy and I really am not prone to feeling lonely anyway. Although DH works nights, so after we live together I'll see how I feel spending 5 nights alone. I'm sure we all have our moments.

Mary, try public interest...nice 8 hour days and great bennies. Unless, of course, you would like to get paid for your services. That's the only downside. I'm the poorest attorney I know!

Re: Is anyone a lonley wife?
I work evenings, he works days. Not only that, he is in NJ 3 days a week! We see each other only briefly on weekend mornings (sometimes). I'm almost embarrased to say this, but I'm not lonely at all! I even look forward to those 3 days with the apartment to myself! I am happy when he comes home, happy when he leaves! I'm a bad bride!

Re: Is anyone a lonley wife?
I am torn with this one.
When we were first married my dh was taking on a lot of side jobs which left me at home alone which I never was before I got married because I lived with my mom, sister and brother. I hated it at first and probably one of the reasons I became addicted to this site. It was very hard for me not to pick up the phone 4875287 times a day to talk to him and ask him when he was coming home. Now, the side jobs have slowed down and I feel like he is home a lot! He recently got hurt (nothing big, very small in fact) at work and was out for about 2 weeks and I was off (the last weeks of the summer) and I thought I was going to lose my mind. I couldnt wait for him to go back to work and the both of us back to a normal routine. So I feel both ways at different times.
