Re: Is anyone considering looking in NJ?
I moved to NJ about 2 years ago. I work here, so it made sense....this was before I met DH. I bought a condo.....now we are selling the condo and buying a house in Elmwood Park (Bergen County). If you have any questions about NJ....let me know!
I know there are a bunch of us Jersey girls on this site. Good luck!!!

Re: Is anyone considering looking in NJ?
I am in Dunellen, NJ - Middlesex Cty (Central NJ). My DH and I are both from LI /NYC and decided we wanted the suburban feel without spending a bazillion dollars on a house. We moved into our house in July and love the area. I work in the city and it is about an hour commute. My DH works in NJ so it's only 20 min for him. Here's a pic of our house - FM me if you want specific info
we were thinking of moving to NJ and my DH was going to commute to the city. But then he got a job in Plainsboro--it's in the Princeton area. So we moved here to Plainsboro and DH is only 3 minutes from his job, but a lot of people in the area commute to the city. i think it's about an hour on the train. right now we're buying a townhouse in kendall park, which is aout 15 minutes north of princeton. it's in middlesex county too. we love the area.

Re: Is anyone considering looking in NJ?
I live in Essex County. DH and I just moved about a month ago and we love it.
I left Long Island about 5 years ago to move to the city and then we decided to move to NJ.
It's a 25 -30 minute train ride to Penn Station.

Re: Is anyone considering looking in NJ?
We looked in Demerist, Tenafly and 2 other neighboring towns and we fell in love with those towns but it was a little out of price range. Eventually we plan on moving there maybe in 5 years.
