I want to wear flats...like even isotoner slippers...i could care less about shoes since the dresses are so long. But lately everyone tells me its not a good idea. Why? My feet will be comfy all day. FH is only like two inches taller than me and I promised him I wouldn't be taller and I don't want to be taller. Even the seamstress looked at me like I was weird. No one really says 'what a horrible idea' but they all look at me like I'm weird. Anyone wearing flats or know of someone who did? What do you girls think?

If you want to wear flats…then wear flats. Don’t be uncomfortable if you don’t have to be. FH is over a foot taller than me, so I will be rocking the heels. I’m actually planning to get 2 pairs of shoes. A really high heel (3”+) for the ceremony and pics and then a smaller heel for dancing (2”).

My FH is also almost a foot taller then me so I will be wearing blue glittery heels for the ceremony and pictures then I am going to swap out them for a pair of bedazzled flip flops. I wear flip flops 12 months a year. I don't care how cold it is outside they're my favorite. My mom is not happy about this, but it is my wedding and I'm paying for it so I'm doing what will make me happy, as you should!!

I love shoes, although I dont wear my heels often lol but unfortunately FH is only about an inch taller than me so Im hoping to find some really nice 2' heels. If not Ill be wearing flats all day. If I do, then Im still changing into those rolly flats at the reception. I cant be in any size heel all night.
If u want to wear flats go for it. Who cares what any1 says or thinks.

I am def wearing flats! I am not a heel girl as much i try to be, its never gonna happen. I thought about wearing flip flops but then realized when im walking down the aisle you will hear flip flop flip flop haha.

If you want to wear flats then don't listen to anything anyone says, its ur wedding, just do whatever is going to make you happy and ur feet even happier :)

i want to wear flats also. My mom said just to wear a little kitten heel bc it makes your posture better and the way you walk is more elegant, which is true for me at least. I'm going to search for super comfy 1 inch heels

I would, but I have the foot taller than me FH sooo no I won't be lol. Also I never wear heels and I love shoes so I want fancy ones My friend picked out boring flats though because she thought nobody would see them just because the dress is long... but that is NOT true!! You can totally see them all the time so make sure you LOVE them!
I am having the exact same issue my mom is like there is no way...bay bay bah but I plan on changing into flip flops early...

Our wedding is medieval themed, and there is NO way I am not being comfortable. I don't wear heels often, if ever, and even tho he is much taller than me (like almost a foot taller) I don't care.

I say 1 inch heel i agree it helps with posture for pics the whole night...
my FH wanted a midevil times wedding. he actually wanted to go and have it at midevil times!
