So I havent had any trials yet but keep thinking that I am going to be most stressed/undecided about my hair. I would love to have it down because its flowey and I think I look my best like this but I also think that it will look to everydayish, the same goes for half up and half down and I've had this style at other peoples weddings before. All up would be the most bridal in my opinion and would like nice, but I dont think it will compliment me the most. I just want to feel like a bride with my hair being special but also me feeling that I look my best.
PS. I have pretty long hair and like the length but when its curled, it obviously gets shorter and Im not as happy with the shorter length with the curls in it...I was thinking about getting extensions and having it down or half down so it will be a little differnt (I know hair ppl with try to discourage me since my hair is so long already but they dont get what I feel when its shorter, lol

I am def most stressed about this. I too want a half up half down thing, but I have seen some brides whose curls fell out by the end of the night and it looking scraggly and I think it looks worse than if they had just put it all up. That is my biggest fear! Also if it's raining or something that day I'm afraid they will get yucky. I also don't want it to look 'promish' which I have seen some ppl looking like.....
I am having a trial in May early in the morning and I will be wearing my hair done all day long, even though we are RD shopping and I will look like a crazy person, lol! I am soooo anxious about it!
lol like mine!?!?! Trust me with this..if you wear your hair down..its only natural that the curls will loosen, and by the end of the night it is very possible that it will look messed up and scraggly (I can't think of a word) ..especially from dancing all night, the heat and humidity (if your getting married in the summer), and while taking pics!!!!! its hard to keep your hair in place all night long (keep in mind that I have pretty curly hair naturally!!!!!)..I sometimes regret having my hair half down..I wish I would have worn it all up..but I also hated my hair up..so this was a huge dilemma. The best advice I can give you is.. do what makes you...you!!!!!!! or what makes you happy! You want to feel like yourself on your wedding day, only a little bit prettier!!!!

I am not stressed! I've known what I wanted to do with my wedding hair for years - even before I met my FH!
i think my favorite part of this post is that last week you posted that you thought you were the only 'unstressed bride' and someone wrote that something will stress you, i am happy that it is only your hair!!!! lmao

Ahhh you caught me!!! Yes, this is the only thing I am kinda stressed about or atleast I think I will be stressed about when the time comes. but you guys got me stressed last week anyway saying, oh boyyy your time will come. LOL

Did Claudia do your extentions as well?
sorry i just saw this now, haven't been on but yes she did the extensions, well she provided them and clipped them in hair. They were clip on extensions, not bonded in or sewn in.

I'm totally stressed about this. FH loves my hair down. I have long hair but it's really thin. My worry is that it will look too everydayish too (love that word) I'd prefer to have an updo but I think he'll be bummed. So I'm thinking of doing some 1/2 up 1/2 down trials - my worry there is that I don't have Jessica Simpson hair so mine would look kind of ho hum??? Uggghhh.
I was in the same boat as you....my hair is thin and blah... I tried an updo but it wasn't me... i thought 1/2 up 1/2 down wouldn't look right because my hair is so thin ..but at my trial M...I...A.. (wonderful!!) worked wonders. and i looked like i had a head full of thick beautiful hair (even without extensions) -- they tease it at the top which gives it fullness.. then they tell you not to wash it for like 2 days (when the hair is 'dirty' it thickens a bit' ... if you find a good hairstylist, you can get that 'jessica simpson' looking hair!!
PS - she did add a few extensions on the day of but if she didn't tell me she was doing it, i never would have known because it looked and felt just like my own hair!!

i was stressing big time! I did three trials and wasn't happy til the third one. Each time I wanted to cry as I gave out more trial money... but it all worked out.
My advice, start trialing now, get it over with so its not a stress anymore!

No way...they were pinned in so good... It was even hard for me to take them out at the end of the night.. so i kept them in and took them out in the morning! lol
